Khris was a once in a lifetime dog.  He set the bar and then sailed over it with ease.  His life was a testament to what achievement with grace is all about.  He was the #1 Springer  in the country from 1982 - 1984, the #1 Sporting Dog in 1982 and 1983, and the ESSFTA National Specialty winner in 1983.  It was hard to watch Khris and not be part of his fan club as he filled the ring and the air with the magic and excitement that made your skin tingle.

Khris has created an enduring legacy through his children.  The sire of many top winning show dogs, the greatest quality he passed to his offspring was a remarkable temperament that has left a lasting impression on Ridgewyn and the breed. 

Fishing buddy, puppy raiser, gentleman amongst gentlemen, king amongst kings... he is forever with us.
